FAQ

Get answers to the most frequently asked questions about metal purchasing and sales!

  • 1. How is the price of ferrous and non-ferrous scrap metal determined?

Purchase prices for metals are based on exchanges (such as the LME) and local demand, therefore, they change daily. The final purchase price of a metal is determined based on the type and cleanliness of the metal, and the quantity of the scrap of that metal. You can always check the purchase prices we offer for ferrous and non-ferrous scrap metal on our website (separate for each of our sites).

  • 2. What metals do you usually procure?

Ferrous (steel, cast iron) and non-ferrous (copper, aluminium, brass, stainless steel, lead), as well as vehicles and household appliances. Information concerning specific categories are published by the purchasing sites.

  • 3. Can you collect scrap metal from a company/object?

Yes, we deliver containers for collecting larger quantities. May not apply in case of small quantities.

  • 4. What do I have to present at the site when selling scrap metal to you?

An identity document, if you are a natural person.

  • 5. How is the weighing of and payment for metals carried out?

  • 8. Do you procure car or other batteries and what do you do with acid?

  • 9. How to get a better selling price for metal?

Sort metals, remove any plastic/rubber, prepare photos, specify quantity and address: this way you will get a more accurate quote.

  • 10. Do I need pre-registration/coordination of time?

You may arrive without registration, however, in case of large quantities or removal, it is better to pre-arrange the time.

  • 11. Do you procure end-of-life vehicles?

  • 13. Can you dispose of sensitive/confidential products?

Yes, we can. It depends on what kind of a product it is.

  • 14. Do you process household appliances?
